Beautiful interactives can be built even when you don't have a whole army of developers, designers and animators behind you, by using readily available platform such as Adobe Slate that do all the work for you as long as you have a strong story to illustrate.

Antonopolous and Haddad's tips include remembering that flexibility with the format "lies in the narrative" of the story, and they also provide a handy outline for storyboarding your interactive before you start working on the product.
